Vinyasa, Power Yoga

Sara began her yoga practice after retiring as a professional ballerina from the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in 2008. She found yoga was a way to gain inner peace with the mind, body, and soul and still stay true to her dance roots without physical strain on her body. After practicing for many years, Sara realized that she wanted to share her passion and the benefits of yoga with all her friends and family. Sara received her 200-hour certification with New York Yoga under Michael Gilbert and Jimmy Burgio and has since taught in various studios in New York City. With Sara's background, she likes to teach a very strong and powerful class that still allows her to use her creative and energetic dance flow in her weekly classes. She thoroughly enjoys seeing her students gain the confidence they need for everyday life as well as find inner peace both on the yoga mat and off.
