UNWIND's Kids Series

Kids need yoga too!

In today's fast-paced world, even our kids can use some help to slow down, build confidence, and develop strength in both body and mind. Yoga can help develop those skills and more. Learning how to focus, building confidence, becoming aware of both their surroundings and their bodies, increasing coordination, and developing mental coping strategies are only some of the benefits yoga provides for children of all ages.

That's why here at UNWIND we offer a wide variety of classes for teens, tweens, toddlers, and even our littlest ones. So check out our classes below to see what classes your youngest aspiring yogis can enjoy. 

Mommy & Me Yoga Series: Ages 2–3

Wednesday Series, September 18 through October 23

11:00-11:30 AM with Lisa E. 

Introduce your little ones to yoga through a fun and creative storytelling approach. This series celebrates the wonders of mobility, communication, and independent exploration, and helps children learn to find their breath and make their way into animated yoga poses. Using tot-centric poses, the children improve motor coordination, cognitive development, and socialization. 

This is a six-week series that takes place from September 18 through October 23. Before the series starts, try the FREE Mommy & Me Yoga class on September 11 from 11:00 to 11:30 AM. 

$120/child. Discounts are available for siblings.

Miss Lisa brings fun to the introduction of mindfulness and yoga movements to kids. My 6 year old son loves her class because he can laugh and be silly and move around, which he needs, and still learn about yoga!

Yoga for Kids: Ages 4–8

Thursday Series, September 19 through October 24

4:30-5:15 PM with Lisa E. 

Introduce your children to yoga through a fun and creative storytelling approach. This class incorporates yoga poses and breathing exercises while providing children the space to sing from their hearts, dance in their own way, and pretend and play in a super fun yogi kind of way. 

Yoga for Kids will help your children build confidence, develop mind/body coordination, and enhance concentration, memory, and imagination. 

This is a six-week series that will take place from September 19 through October 24. Before the series begins, try a FREE Yoga for Kids class on September 12 from 4:30 to 5:15 PM.

Kids Meditation: Ages 8+

Once a Month Sunday Workshops 

11:00-11:30 AM with Aubrey 

Have the little ones join us for a meditation session designed especially for them. We want kids to be happy and healthy, now and for the rest of their lives. Teaching them about meditation and breathing techniques to calm anxiety and fears early can help them do just that. 

These 30-minute kids meditation sessions will take place on September 15, October 6, November 17, and December 15.

Shine Om Series for Girls: Ages 9–12

Friday Series, September 27 through November 1

 7:00-8:00 PM with Chris F.

"S" stands for SOUL What feeds our souls? Inner self-worth, etc.

"H" stands for HEART ~ What brings joy to our hearts? Loving ourselves, our bodies, etc.

"I" stands for INSPIRE ~ What inspires you? What awakens your dreams?

"N" stands for NAMASTE ~ What brings you peace?

"E" stands for EMPOWER ~ Self-empowerment


Created specifically for tween girls ages 9-12, this camp focuses on inspiring them to find their inner self-worth through mindfulness, arts and crafts, journaling, and sharing. Learn self-compassion techniques and strategies designed to help identify and regulate emotions that result from interactions in their daily lives. Each day, campers will explore their sense of self, find a deep sense of knowing who they are (outside of what society or peers tell them), and find their creative outlets. By the end of the week, your child will have the tools they need to "SHINE OM" in their families, friendships, and the world!

This is a six-week series that will take place from September 27 through November 1. Before the series begins, you can try a FREE Shine Om class on September 13 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.   

Activities include:

  • Essential oils & meditation

  • Make your own jewelry

  • Craft projects from the heart

  • Journaling

  • Yoga

$120/child. All supplies included.

My 12 year old daughter and her friends loved yoga class with Miss Chris! It was more than yoga, they enjoyed doing crafts, and had meaningful discussions that are so important for tweens today! I highly recommend this program. My daughter will happy to attend again!
