Power Vinyasa Flow

Meditation

What could be better than finishing out your day with a calming meditation to quiet your mind, settle your body, and prepare yourself for a restful night? Beginners to practicing meditators will benefit from this class. This class consists of beginning breath work and progresses into guided mindful meditation.

Core Power Flow Class

Join us for this empowering power yoga class to fire up your core, build your strength, and ignite your intent. Turn your stress into strength before you start your day.

 

This class will focus on moves to vitalize your solar plexus chakra in combination with overall alignment to help grow your confidence and vitality. This chakra empowers you to create the life you want and, when balanced, you are able to seize your personal power and develop your authentic self. 

Sass level: High, because being strong and balanced first thing in the morning will require high levels of sass to get the job done!

Yoga for Kids Series (Ages 4-8 Years)

6-week Series: 

September 19 to October 24

Introduce your children to yoga through a fun and creative storytelling approach. This class incorporates yoga poses and breathing exercises while providing children the space to sing from their hearts, dance in their own way, and pretend and play in a super fun yogi kind of way. 


Yoga for Kids will help your children build confidence, develop mind/body coordination, and enhance concentration, memory, and imagination. 


This is a six-week series that will take place from September 19 through October 24.

Strengthen and Lengthen Mat Pilates - NEW Class!

Mat Pilates focuses on developing core strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina. In this class we will use precise movements originating from the deepest layers of muscles that stabilize and support your spine and pelvis for ideal posture and alignment. Classes emphasize the principals of Pilates while offering modifications and variations for individual needs.

 

Mat Pilates is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body, increase agility in your everyday movements, and create mindfulness, relaxation, and stress reduction during and after class. 

Sass level: Medium to help align and sculpt.

Shine Om for Girls Series (Ages 9-12 Years)

6-week Series:

September 27 to November 1

Created specifically for tween girls ages 9-12, this camp focuses on inspiring them to find their inner self-worth through mindfulness, arts and crafts, journaling, and sharing. Learn self-compassion techniques and strategies designed to help identify and regulate emotions that result from interactions in their daily lives. Each day, campers will explore their sense of self, find a deep sense of knowing who they are (outside of what society or peers tell them), and find their creative outlets. By the end of the week, your child will have the tools they need to "SHINE OM" in their families, friendships, and the world!

Activities include essential oils and meditation, making your own jewelry, craft projects from the heart, journaling, and yoga. 

This is a six-week series that will take place from September 27 through November 1.

If you're searching for a way to move with joy and express yourself, try a Nia class!

Join Teresa D'Angelo in this sensation-based cardio fitness practice that integrates mind, body, and spirit. In this class, you will be guided to move barefoot to diverse and inspiring music, weaving in moves that invite you to express yourself through the martial arts, dance arts, and healing arts. Nia is adaptable for all ages and fitness levels, and stimulates joints, muscles, and bones for maximum benefit and functionality in your daily life. 

This class will take place August 31 through October 26. Join one class or join them all!

Momcology Caregiver Coffee Break

This is a free class for pediatric cancer caregivers. UNWIND is passionate about helping the community with a special emphasis on those who have taken part in the fight against pediatric cancer. During these Coffee Breaks, will do yoga together and then head to the Bagel Cafe next door for some snacks and time to catch up with each other. Join us to relax in a comfortable, supportive environment. 

UNWIND Yoga, Bagel Cafe NP, and Momcology are coming together to provide a Momcology Caregiver Coffee Break. These coffee breaks are local community building with all the love and support from Momcology. They are dedicated to connecting and supporting pediatric cancer caregivers. Momcology's mission is to help empower and heal pediatric cancer families through the resource of peer support. 

These Coffee Breaks will take place on the last (or almost last!) Saturday of every month.

 

Scheduled dates: September 28, October 26, and November 23. 

Spirit and Grace Lite - Vinyasa Flow

This is the light version of the Spirit and Grace Flow class, meaning this is the quickie version for 1 hour. This is an all-level class. There will be an opening centering, sun salutes, playful sequencing, and closing savasana. Movement is linked with the breath throughout class. Modifications will be offered to take something up or down as needed. There is always a lot of spirit in this class, with a touch of yoga grace and silly sass. Leave feeling a bit lighter and full of good vibes. 


Sass level: Low to medium depending on the day.

Spirit and Grace - Vinyasa Flow

Spirit and Grace Flow is an all-level class. There will be an opening centering, sun salutes, playful sequencing, and closing savasana. Movement is linked with the breath throughout class. Modifications will be offered to take something up or down as needed. There is always a lot of spirit in this class, with a touch of yoga grace and silly sass.

Sunday Fun Day Family Yoga

One Sunday a Month

Sunday Sunday Sunday... It's your Sunday Fun Day! Grab the kids and make it a family affair to get on your mats together. We won't be too serious, but we will be all about being together. This class is designed to allow the family some chill out time together with some fun poses and peaceful moments on the mat. This is a mixed age and level class designed to stop the madness and increase the peace for your family.

This class will take place on August 25, September 22, October 20, November 24, and December 22.

Adults pay the regular drop-in rate, but kids are free!


Sass level: Hopefully stays low unless something gets out of hand!

Cancer Therapeutics and Recovery Gentle Yoga and Meditation

One Sunday a Month

Please join us for a class dedicated to those recovering from recent cancer treatments. It has been found that yoga can help reduce anxiety, depression, fatigue, and stress for some patients. Yoga also improves the quality of sleep, mood, and well-being. Please join us so we can help you find relief and unwind. 

This free class will take place on September 8, October 27, November 11, and December 1.
